Longo Chellah

Longo is associate trading manager at GreenCo where he drives the company’s innovative regional energy trading initiatives in the nascent regional energy market.

He joined GreenCo in its early days and played a significant role in developing the firm’s trading systems and capabilities. Before joining GreenCo, Longo built a foundation in the mining sector, gaining valuable experience in power system maintenance and operations.

Longo is an Electrical Engineer with competencies in finance, energy policy as well as emerging  & renewable energy technologies.

Further afield, Longo has been engaged in various multi-sector development initiatives at both local and international level such as with the African Union in Ethiopia and the Commonwealth in the UK. He is passionate about creating inflection-point-effecting solutions for Africa.
