Chikoma Kazunga
Chikoma Kazunga is a renewable energy professional with over fifteen years of experience in the renewable energy sector. His work in this space has included working as a consultant to large energy companies, project developers, and electric utilities; developing renewable energy projects in sub-Saharan Africa; and working in business development and market intelligence for a large global solar PV manufacturer. He has been active in various industry associations over the last fifteen years, including the South African Wind Energy Association; the South African Photovoltaic Industry Association; The US Solar Energy Industry Association, and the California Solar and Storage Association. He has a Ph.D. in Environmental Sciences and Engineering from the University of North Carolina at Chapel. Hill. Currently residing in Lusaka, Zambia, Chikoma believes that renewable energy presents the fastest, lowest-cost and most sustainable way for developing countries in Africa to achieve the goal of universal access to electricity for all.
