Our Latest Newsletter is Now Live!

We are excited to announce that our latest newsletter is out, featuring our active participation in the Energy Forum For Africa – EFFA conference in Lusaka. This event, organized under the auspices of the Ministry of Energy, was pivotal in addressing the energy crisis and climate challenges facing Zambia and the broader region.

In addition to our involvement at EFFA, we’re also delighted to share a significant milestone for South Africa: On Friday, August 16th, President Cyril Ramaphosa signed the Electricity Regulation Amendment Act into law. This landmark legislation is set to create a competitive electricity market, boost renewable energy, and ensure long-term energy security for all South Africans.

Key highlights include the establishment of a competitive electricity market, the introduction of an Independent Transmission System Operator (TSO), and a strong promotion of renewable energy.

Our newsletter covers these developments, our launch of Capacity Building Webinars, and a recap of the impactful contributions our team made at the EFFA conference. We also celebrate our “Most Supportive Partner” award and acknowledge the exceptional efforts of our interns from the University of Zambia.

We extend our heartfelt thanks to all our friends, partners, and team members who made this a success!
