We are thrilled to announce GreenCo’s significant milestones in advancing renewable energy and sustainable development in Zimbabwe. At COP 28 in Dubai, we celebrate these strides, which are pivotal in transforming Zimbabwe’s electricity landscape.

āœØOur collaboration withĀ Zimbabwe Electricity Transmission and Distribution CompanyĀ (ZETDC) marks a significant step. This will allow GreenCo to facilitate electricity trading within ZimbabweĀ and the region, boosting renewable energy generation and supportingĀ economicĀ growth.

āœØĀ The approval of our retail supply license by theĀ Zimbabwe Energy Regulatory Authority (ZERA)Ā is another key milestone. This aligns with Zimbabwe’s goal to increase renewable energy capacity, paving the way for a greener future.

āœØĀ Additionally, theĀ Zimbabwe Investment & Development Agency – ZIDAĀ granted GreenCo an investment license, underlining their commitment to creating a conducive investment climate.

These milestones are critical for Zimbabwe’s journey towards energy security and economic growth. They underscoreĀ GreenCoā€™sĀ dedication to fostering a sustainable and reliable energy sector, promoting investment in renewable energy, and supporting local development.
